Description

READ this please, before you resort to useless name-calling.

This stamp is about little kids who treat boyfriends and girlfriends as status symbols, and those who go through 12 of them in a week. This is not about me trying to "ruin relationships" and it's not about the very small percentage of kids who actually take it seriously and gain a bit of experience from it.

Stop telling me to dieeeee :(

end edit :)

Seriously. If you really think it's okay, you need to stop watching Disney Channel.

-edit- So WHY do I think this?
There are a number of reasons. (EDIT I'll ad some more for the fun of it.)

:bulletgreen: Teen pregnancy. Nuff said.

:bulletgreen: Shouldn't we, at that age, be so much more worried about school and grades and stuff rather than having sex and what people will think of you if you don't have a girlfriend or boyfriend?

:bulletgreen: Generally, these days, boyfriends/girlfriends are seen as more of a trendy accessory or fad rather than a lifelong partner for whom you share a deep understanding of and love more than anything in the world. A lot of teens don't understand what dating really should be. It's disgusting.

:bulletgreen: HORMONES. I've mentioned this in a bunch of comments here. Do you know what infatuation is? Well, you know, crushes. It's part of puberty. Do you know why people lose interest in their "bf/gf" so quickly? Because it's INFATUATION and it's not legit. Love should last for years and years. Everyone thinks they're in love, but love and infatuation/hormones are two really different things. Not saying infatuation can't evolve into love, it's not impossible, but I think it's better to wait until you're ready- and by ready I mean done with puberty and stuff and ready to start an actual life.

I think that's all I wanted to say.

-edit- No it's not!! Lemme just say that this does not only apply to 13-year-olds, but most teenagers in general. Like not just 13, but maybe up to 16. Imagine the stamp says "Most teenagers should not be dating" or something along those lines.

-edit again- Now of course there are exceptions. There always are. I've heard of people who started dating really young and are still together now, but most kids these days don't take it seriously, and that's what bothers me. I don't think they should be dating if they thing having boyfriends and girlfriends are a status symbol.

When I was 13 I dated someone online for around a year. It wasn't super serious and it mostly happened because our RP characters really liked eachother, but my god.. There was so much pointless drama. It's funny as heck looking back now but like it all could've been solved just by talking!
